The obsession with absurd body proportions and denying the manifestation of time on our faces is sign of our infantile times. Not that I don't empathize. I look in the mirror and wish I could erase the dark bags under my eyes, which are only getting darker and and baggier as they earn more mileage. I notice smile lines, crow's feet... but that's life. My life, specifically.
