Cribs

Jean-Baptiste is sanding rough edges right now. He spent all afternoon sawing wood posts on the terrace, in preparation for the crib he is building for our baby.

Watching him carefully measure, mark and cut planks of maple wood makes my heart sing. I love to think that in a little over a month, we'll be putting baby to sleep in a bed made with so much care and with one little guy in mind.
