He's entitled to his opinion and he has every right to back whatever cause he sees fit, however, does he have any credibility?

Good point, Pepe. Does a celebrity do more harm than good when publicly advocating for certain causes? Do Angelina Jolie and George Clooney Hollywood-ize serious social issues, or do they bring awareness to subjects that normally would be ignored by the media? Is that the end goal?

... I think one could argue both sides, and sometimes there can be a backlash effect - when Sean Penn praises Chavez, etc. - but it's at least good to see actor's astronomical incomes being funneled toward worthy causes...
