Happy Mother's Day

It's la fête des Mères in France today. My first. A lovely, fragrant bouquet of flowers picked from our garden greeted me at lunch. I just emerged from a two hour long bath (seriously.), replete with a Monterey-made soy candle, a bolée de cidre, and the book I picked out from the Médiathèque yesterday, just for the occasion. (Merci for the recommendation, Alice.)
